Quick Update:

I’ve been very slow with my product listings lately because I was in fact, struggling with one custom-made necklace and bracelet set and have been beading and dismantling them for the past 1 or 2 months.

However, I am happy today because I’ve finally managed to complete it (with satisfaction) during this morning and will be delivering them to my sweet customer either tonight or tomorrow morning just in time for her to attend a wedding dinner.

Be assured that there will be a few product listings in April and guess what? There will be one “Featured Loves” promotion in April and it will be up very soon!

I still have a custom-made charm bracelet request pending from another lovely soul and since I am still experimenting around with the designs and materials. If this lovely soul is now reading this post, your kind patience and understanding is much appreciated.

Last but not least, I am happy to receive happiness shared by all you lovely souls out there and hopefully I am able to post part 3, part 4 and more of your happiness shared in the days ahead.

Have you all noticed that something is missing in the month of September?

(⇀‸↼‶) We are so sorry that there won’t be any ‘Featured Product’ this month partly because with the arrival of Kerby, my daily routine is kind of being messed up, therefore we are a little slow with our product listings. (⇀‸↼‶)

In order to make up for this, we will be having 3 featured products in the month of October, so do be sure to check them out.

It really excites us that both our handcrafted ‘Flower-In-The-Twist Vintage Inspired Bracelet’ and ‘Flower-On-A-Hook Vintage Inspired Necklace’ were sold out during last week!

One of them was bought by a lovely soul in our WP family, so a big thank you to this lovely soul for her kind support.

Last but not least, we’ve received a customer request to do the wrist bands of her watch, which was quite a challenge to me.

After an entire week of trial and error, I’ve finally finished it and thankfully she was happy with the design as well:

Because of this lovely order, I’ve gotten to learn a lot of different beading techniques via those trials and errors. Currently, I am still working on a necklace, a bracelet and a pair of earrings for her.

While I was editing the above picture, I’ve came across two lovely filters that I’ve never used before and thus for the sake of fun, I decided to use them for a banner of our handcrafted jewelry and sharing two inspiring quotes using the photos that I’ve taken for this watch:

This bracelet is one of those from the school fund raising bulk order.

Let’s Play: Write It Out – Result

I may need to include “LET US WRITE” in the above quote since this post will be the result post of our “Write It Out”!

How time flies and since we’ve not been very prolific in our post publishing lately (⇀‸↼‶), we’ve managed to make the result post our 200th one and with the hope of making at least two souls to join us in this dance of joy.

Before announcing the result, we must proclaim that ALL submissions in this ‘Write It Out’ are lovely and wonderful. The only reason why we’ve the voting is just to help us decide to whom we should give the token of appreciation to.

So without further adieu,  here’s the poem that all lovely souls out there have helped us decide:

The picture quality in this post may be a little off because my brother is currently not in the country and took the camera with him…*sob*sob*….ಥ_ಥ…..why????????

Since this is a “Write It Out”, I’ve written the poem down and made this little card for her. Besides the card, we will be giving Shruti our“Fairy Tale Reborn” bookmark, which is no longer a bookmark because we’ve modified it into a hanging ornament.  We do hope she will like it. 😀

Grow Your Moustache and Grow Your Heart

As I was doing my routine blog reading, I came across the word ‘Movember’ in many posts and became curious about this. When I searched the web for it, I found out that this is indeed a great event.

For  people, especially men (who has this ability to grow a moustache) who are not aware of this event, here’s a little insight of what this event is about:

Movember (a portmanteau word from moustache and “November”) is an annual, month-long event involving the growing of moustaches during the month of November to raise awareness of prostate cancer and other male cancer and associated charities.

Besides getting an annual check-up, the Movember Foundation encourages men to be aware of any family history of cancer, and to adopt a more healthful lifestyle.

Movember moustaches were first grown in Australia back in 2003 and since that time word of Movember and its men’s health messages have spread across the globe.

Held in November, this is the month in which people gather together to grow and compare moustaches.  Participants begin the month clean shaven and cultivate their moustaches throughout the month for this event.

Movember currently runs official campaigns in Australia, New Zealand, the UK, Ireland, the US, Canada, South Africa, Finland, the Netherlands, Denmark, Norway, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Spain, Hong Kong, Singapore, France, Germany, Sweden, Switzerland and Austria.

The popularity of Movember as a charity has inspired other annual facial hair growing contests across the world, such as No Shave November and Mustache March. Such events are not affiliated with Movember, and are not registered charitable foundations, although some smaller events have been held to raise money or awareness for different charities.

Frankly speaking, I am really not aware of this event if not for all those wonderful blogs that I’ve read during the past few days and the collection that we are launching today is actually moustache-related!!! I guess everything just happens for a reason.

I really like this theme but the only problem is the font for the page title because they just a little too insignificant on the home page.
