Education is a continual process, it’s like a bicycle…
If you don’t pedal you don’t go forward.
~ George Weah
Two nights ago, I’ve came across a cute story about “A Man & His Bicycle” and would like to share with you lovely souls out there, especially about the conclusion the story teller gave for this particular story, here goes:
There is a man who always travels to work via his bicycle and would always put it outside his office building without using any lock since he has been doing it for many years.
Until one day when he decided to buy a new bicycle and rode it to work as usual, it was being stolen on the same day.
Without much choice, he has to buy another new bicycle but this time, he bought himself a cable bike lock as well and chained the bicycle to the nearest fence outside the building.
Unfortunately, the bicycle was once again being stolen, with all bicycle parts being dismantled except for the one that was being chained to the fence.
The next day, the man went to work with another new bicycle and this time, he brought along with him 8 metal chains and 8 locks after deciding that a cable lock was simply not enough.
After securing his bicycle with all eight chains and locks, he even left a note to the thief:
Later in the evening, he quickly rushed to his bicycle and was happy and relieved to see it still being secured to the fence.
As he was happily unlocking those chains one by one, thinking that he had outsmarted the thief, he noticed an extra chain encircling his bicycle to the next fence with an unfamiliar lock attached to it.
As he took a closer look, he found a note sticking to the lock:
Just like what George Weah had said – Education is a continual process – the story teller threw us this question at the end of the story:
People are always trying to outsmart each other and thus making their lives miserable without knowing they are miserable.
Instead of competing to see who is the smarter one…
WHY NOT JUST BE THE KINDER ONE?
Let us make this continual process of ours a sweet one for both ourselves and to others as well!
May this little story bring a little laughter (I did LOL when I heard this story) to all lovely souls out there on this lovely Monday and at the same time, contemplating on the question threw to us by the story teller.
Last but not least, in another one more month and it will be CHRISTMAS!!
ヽ(´▽`)/ YAY ヽ(´▽`)/

I believe that the spirit of Christmas ~ giving, love, happiness and connecting with others is universal ~ so even if you don’t celebrate Christmas, you certainly have the sentiments of the holiday alive and well in yourself and it shows in your blog. xo

Glad to read that you’re not affected by pollution I saw on Weather Channel. Maybe that channel blew the problem out of proportion. We have air pollution problems here sometimes, from major metropolitan areas surrounding us. Thanks for liking a few quips. Best, always.
