CNC-LN011-LOVE-ENCASING-PEARLS

If you are reading this post of ours, it would mean that you’ve ‘survived’ 21st Dec 2012.

I’ve received a Tweet during last night (20.12.2012) saying that the so-called the end of the world has been postponed to 3rd Sept 2015, meaning, we will have another 3 more years or so to help turn this world into a better place to live by having more positive thoughts, positive actions and most of all, positive love.

I’ve always believe that as long as goodness still exists in mankind, the world won’t have the heart to come to an end.

😉

POSITIVE LOVE

‘Love’ is a general expression of positive sentiment (a stronger form of like), love is commonly contrasted with hate.

Since love itself is already a very positive adjective/noun/verb, then why bother putting the word ‘positive’ in front?

Question: Is English your first language??

Ans: I’m afraid it is so, but I still get confused with all the grammatical stuff… 😦

Well, every coin has two faces so even for an action or feeling with such positiveness tends to have two faces when being overlooked, misused or even abused.

Therefore, the word ‘POSITIVE’ is there to act as a reminder.

This post is actually inspired by two pictures which I’ve found in my Facebook page which  I would like to share with you lovely souls out there.

How much do you love yourself?

You cannot enjoy happiness if you are not at peace with yourself.

I’ve seen many extreme cases around me — from those who wanted to be perfect in front of others by constantly looking for flaws within themselves and becoming their own worst critics to the kind of egotistical self-love based purely on selfishness, pleasure and fame.

Those are definitely not any positive love for yourself.

The following picture speaks for itself :

Find the true love within yourself by loving yourself, for true love is in abundance within yourself.

How much do you love the one who has completed you?

Relationships are hard work and they’re a never-ending quest to ensure the happiness of one another.

When love becomes overbearing, it is often being misused/abused in a relationship:

Woman: Why can’t I go out with my friends anymore?

Man: Because I want you for myself.

Woman: You are such a possessive jerk!

Man: No I am not. I just love you too much!

On the other hand, the hottest heart of love is just like heated iron and if left untouched will get cold of itself and eventually, turns sour.

When Love Turns Sour

(Extracted from: http://www.naijastories.com/2010/12/when-love-turns-sour-2/)

When Love turns sour
each visit to see her becomes a chore
climbing Mount Everest is an east feat
as to getting on the bus to her abode!

When Love turns sour
Phone Calls becomes
dull, repetitive, monotonous syllabic utterances
‘blah, blah, blah’ how she goes on and on!

When Love turns sour
the soup she cooks always has too much salt in it!
her Eba (farina) always has too much lumps in it!

When Love turns sour
her Jollof-Rice has the oil and water running different routes
one to the east, the other the west

When Love turns sour
her kiss has too much Saliva
wow is she an Ilama?

When Love turns sour
her make-up is always too much
her face painted like a Masquerade!

When Love turns sour
sleeping in the sewer is more appealing than sharing the bed with her!

Sounds familiar?

Sadly it does.

So, what will happen when positive love is applied in a relationship?
