Just yesterday, my baby sis told me a joke even when she was feeling very sick. I find it very funny and yet meaningful and so I decided to share with you lovely souls out there.

How people react when they see an ant in their pizza?

ID-10057684

The pessimists would say:

“Oh no! There is an ant in my pizza! Now I have to go hungry for the night….*sob*…”

The optimists would say:

“Grrrrreat! Free ant protein for dinner! What a night!”

Bear Grylls would say:

“Oh~there is a pizza IN my ant!”

According to the World English Dictionary:

— n , pl points of view

1. a position from which someone or something is observed
2. a mental viewpoint or attitude
3. the mental position from which a story is observed or narrated: the omniscient point of view

It is perfectly okay to stand by your own point of view and have your stand conveyed when you are engaging in an argument.

But don’t you forget that the other party is also trying to get his/her stand or P.O.V conveyed across to you at the same time over the same issue or problem.

A:

“You JUST don’t get what I mean…uh..Huh?”

B:

“What do you mean?

It is YOU who can’t see the big picture and you are

blaming me for not getting what YOU mean???”

In logic and philosophy, an argument is an attempt to persuade someone of something, by giving reasons or evidence for accepting a particular conclusion.  ~ Extracted from Wikipedia

Perhaps, rather than to give reasons to support your P.O.V, why not just try standing in each other’s shoes and then coming out with a compromised conclusion?

You may say it is easier said than done…I totally agreed with this, BUT I am willing to try it out because this is just one of the lessons we need to learn in life (not getting into heated arguments, but putting yourself in other’s shoes).

If you’ve already read this humble post of ours and you are about to start an argument with one of your loved ones hours from now, why not just take a deep breath, think about this joke and start putting yourself in their shoes.

Maybe, I mean, maybe… your day would never be the same again?

Hope you all enjoy reading this post!

Till then,

Cheers & TTFN~
